The sensations of the heart could be an arrhythmia from QT prolongation. QT prolongation is when a piece of your heartbeat (on an EKG) is lengthened. It can put you at increased risk for developing arrhythmias if you are medically frail, elderly, on high doses or multiple QT prolonging meds!
Some example of QT prolonging meds are: quetiapine, hydroxyzine, citalopram (possibly escitalopram), haloperidol.
